4-H Youth Programming
4-H is an international youth development program. 4-H encourages members to thrive and to “make the best better.” Youth participate in 4-H through clubs, special interest groups, after-school programs, camps, and many other avenues. 4-H members “learn by doing” through hands-on activities, starting in their own communities, and reaching far beyond; while empowering them to develop and strengthen valuable life skills.

Our youth leaders are explorers of ideas and places, good neighbors, and individuals working to become the best versions of themselves.

About Lake County Falcon 4-H
In 2021, Lake County 4-H Youth Programming was founded by the Lake County Extension Service Ag Board and the UT/TSU Extension Service. Programming in the Lake County School District began with UT Family & Consumer Science Extension Agent, Ashley Harris and continued when 4-H and Youth Development Extension Agent, Maggie Goodman, joined our small but mighty team.

Our current programming includes:

3rd grade Cloverbud Club at Lara Kendall Elementary School that focuses on "Tasting Days" with the Lake County Family and Consumer Science Extension Agent

4th, 5th, and 6th grade health and wellness programming in partnership with educators at LKEMS

a 4-H Honor Club in partnership with Lake County High School that focuses on leadership and community projects
-
The LCHS 4-H Afterschool Career and College Readiness Program that focuses on ACT prep, writing, and leadership development
